Gal*Gun 2 Shooting Off More Pheromones On Nintendo Switch And PlayStation 4

Get ready, Gal*Gun fans, because it looks like the schoolgirls are ready to run wild yet again.

The team at Inti Creates have announced Gal*Gun 2, the follow-up to its first-person pheromone-shooting adventure for PlayStation 4. The sequel will be arriving on Sony's platform sometime next year, but has also been announced for Nintendo Switch.

Inti Creates has been riding high on the success of the series since its initial debut back in 2011 with the first Gal*Gun. Since then, the series has sold more than 200,000 copies worldwide, including the most popular title in the bunch, Gal*Gun Double Peace, which released a few months back here in the States.

For those that don't quite get what the game's about, it's essentially a first-person shooter on rails, in which a number of schoolgirls come lusting after you, and you'll have to use a steady supply of pheromones in order to fend them off, using the Pheromone Shot to give them instant euphoria. So, yes, it's a love shooter. For the most part.

The game will feature an all new story revolving around two new heroines, including "girl next door" Chiru and local friend and classmate Nanako, along with a who's who of girls that pursue you relentlessly. But you're actually helping them to lead a happy life, instead of lusting after you all the time. The more ladies you help, the more missions you'll eventually unlock as a result.

On top of that, the gameplay will see a slight boost with the introduction of a new demon-vacuuming gadget called the Demon Sweeper. With this, you can exert demons out of women with your pheromone shot, then, ahem, suck them up with your demon vacuum for bonus points. So there's a bit of skill to it.

Finally, the team also confirmed that the fan-favorite Doki Doki Mode will make a return, with more details set to be revealed over the next few months.

There's no word yet if Gal*Gun 2 will get any sort of U.S. release, but it'd certainly make an interesting release for Inti's 2018 line-up. We'll let you know whatever the company announces.
