Injustice 2 Comic Reveals New Batman Offspring, New Characters
Athanasia al Ghul

Batman has some troubled kids. Everyone knows Robin, we all love Nightwing, and we're all big fans of Red Hood, but now we have another Bat-Child to contend with.
While everyone is distracted by a crazy evil Batman and the Suicide Squad going up against Batman and his remnant of loyal heroes in a battle over the freedom of Superman, it's revealed that the true target of this entire operation was Damian Wayne.
Talia al Ghul and another mysterious and deadly female bust Damian out of his holding cell, and it's not long before we find out who this mysterious new lady is:

That's right. Athanasia al Ghul is the "daughter of the bat," and you better believe we'll be seeing more of her soon. If not as a DLC character in Injustice 2, then certainly in the next issue of the comic. She wasn't the only new character revealed, though. Tom Taylor explained in a recent interview that more new characters are about to appear in the comics very soon, including...

Aqualad is apparently on the way! Many of you know and love Aqualad from his appearances in Young Justice, and he will no doubt be a very welcome addition to the Injustice 2 canon. While we're at it, we really wouldn't mind seeing an Aqualad premier skin for Aquaman in the Injustice 2 video game since the two would share the same moveset for the most part.
It's worth noting that Aqualad does have the added ability to control the flow of electricity and use it as a weapon, and tends to opt for "Water Bearers" as a weapon instead of a trident. Still, we'd settle with seeing him stick to water-based attacks as a premier skin. We'll be looking to see who he joins forces with in the next issue of Injustice 2!
And we're not done yet.
prevnextAnimal Man

Here's an obscure hero for you -- and we thought Atrocitus was really reaching. Tom Taylor revealed that we'll be seeing Animal Man appear very soon in the Injustice 2 comics. We suppose a Animal Man cameo isn't so far-fetched, since much of his career was pretty much composed of random cameos in other heroes' comics. This is a hero who didn't reach any kind of critical recognition until The New 52, but that's no fault of his own.
Animal Man is a versatile and interesting character, since he can do so many different things. Much like Vixen, Animal Man has the ability to tap into the powers of pretty much any animal on earth, so depending on the need he can be super strong, super fast, or claim the power of flight. We'll be really interested to see his design.
