Injustice 2 Leads PlayStation 4 Downloads For May

We're about to head into a slew of new games next week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, but there are plenty to celebrate now, and Sony has listed the best selling ones for PlayStation 4 and other consoles in this recent blog post.

The numbers indicate that Injustice 2, NetherRealm Studios' DC Comics-based brawler, is the top seller for the PlayStation 4 console, while the Darkseid DLC for the game is third place in the top PlayStation 4 add-ons list.

As for the rest of the top ten sellers for May, two indie games managed to rule the top three, including multiplayer slasher Friday the 13th and the arcade-style dunkfest NBA Playgrounds. Sony's own The Order: 1886 took fourth place – probably because of its recently lowered price – and God of War III: Remastered slid into fifth place.

In addition, the top 20 PlayStation VR games featured a familiar franchise, as Star Trek: Bridge Crew clocked in at second place. Sony's first-person shooting extravaganza dominated first place, while Job Simulator, Statik and Dick Wilde rounded out the top five.
