Injustice 2 Watchtower LIVE, Get a Sneak Peek at Story Mode

It's time for the last pre-launch Injustice 2 Watchtower stream! With less than 12 hours to go until you guys get the game in your hands and start playing all night long (we hope you called out of work tomorrow), NetherRealm is throwing down with one final teaser stream at 3PM Central (though it's usually a few minutes late - refresh the stream so you don't miss it). As you probably know by now, all of the Watchtower livestreams kick off with a round of questions and answers. Questions are sent in to the folks at NetherRealm via Twitter and other social media, and Tyler and the gang will select the best questions to be answered on air. We can't expect any major character reveals or story spoilers during this time, of course, but we have learned several interesting things through the Q&A intro, so pay close attention.

You also probably know by now that when each Watchtower stream is announced, it is typically teased to introduce players to two or three different characters. Last week, for example, we got a closer look at Aquaman and Joker, but this week there weren't any characters specifically called out. Instead, the official tweet indicates that we'll be taking a closer look at Injustice 2's story.

We can't say for sure how deep NetherRealm is willing to go in this stream, but having played through the entire single-player campaign myself, I can tell you that you're in for some huge surprises. We'll have more on that in our official review coming later tonight, but for now we'll have to settle with whatever teases are lobbed our way during the stream.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tom Taylor made a visit to talk about the Injustice 2 comic, which is meant to bridge the gap between the events of Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2. We've seen some pretty shocking things and some unexpected deaths (and unexpected culprits!) in the first handful of issues, so we'd love to hear Taylor speak more to his inspiration and collaboration with DC.
