The PlayStation Plus games for July have yet to be revealed. That said, we’ll probably see what the line-up is sometime this week, considering that the first week in the new month is creeping up on us pretty fast. But it appears that Japanese PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting their hands on some great games…and it leaves us hopeful that we’ll get the same.

This image below signifies a seventh anniversary celebration of the PlayStation Plus program, and, as you can see, there are some pretty major PS4 games included in the deal. There aren’t any PS3 or PS Vita games listed, but, still, this is a pretty big line-up.

The first game in the triple pack is Killzone: Shadow Fall, which originally released on the PlayStation 4 when it launched back in 2013. This is the game that Guerrilla Games worked on before it produced its epic-selling title Horizon: Zero Dawn. It’s the latest chapter in the company’s first-person shooting series, and utilizes some interesting gameplay elements with the touchpad on the DualShock 4 controller, as well as some epic encounters with the Helghast squadron. It wasn’t quite as good as Killzone 3, but some fans still enjoyed it.
Next up is Gravity Daze, also known as Gravity Rush Remastered here in the United States. This game came out a while back, prepping audiences for the Gravity Rush 2 sequel that followed months later. Sony did a good job remastering the game to capture all its epic visual goodness, complete with little anime-style touch-ups, and it’ll be a great game to revisit, even with the sequel making the rounds.
Finally, there’s Child of Light, an awesome role-playing adventure from Ubisoft. Featuring a vivid 2D animation style and plenty of sweet gameplay tactics, it’s an overlooked gem that deserves a second chance – thus, its inclusion in the PlayStation Plus line-up is a neat idea.
Again, there’s no word yet if we’ll be getting these games with the U.S. program in July, but we’ll find out later this week if they’re coming our way or not. In the meantime, be sure to check them out with a rental if you get a chance!
