One of League of Legends' cockiest champions has been in a pretty bad spot since the most recent Patch 7.13 dropped when a bug was found that severely crippled The Star Forger's passive, the core part of his kit that makes him so unique.

If you're not big on playing the star dragon you might've completely missed out on the bug that was impacting his ability to clear minions and damage champions. You probably wouldn't have noticed it when playing against him either since he's not seen as often in the mid lane anymore, but like past issues with Aurelion Sol, this bug was a visual one that affected the three stars that orbit his body.

Through his passive, Center of the Universe, stars circle the dragon and bop any enemy they come in contact with. The bug in question was making it to where when the stars were expanded with his W, Celestial Expansion, the visual of the stars did not correctly line up with their hitbox. That meant that when you were maneuvering around the lane while trying to CS properly with your passive and W that are the main sources of sustained damage from Sol, your stars would actually be elsewhere around your body instead of where they appeared.

A solution to the problem was pushed with a hotfix that was added to the Patch 7.13 notes and went live on July 7.

"Aurelion Sol's stars are no longer visually misaligned with their actual area of effect while W - Celestial Expansion is active," the updated patch notes read.

To those who haven't spent much time on the mid lane dragon, the bug might not have seemed like too much of an issue, but it made him basically unplayable for the days the bug was active. Sol's entire identity revolves around using his stars to shove in the lane quickly so that he can use his bonus movement speed and his Comet of Legend active to roam to the side lanes in order to pressure his opponents with a gank.

This isn't the first visual bug that Sol's stars have had, and it likely won't be the last, but at least this one is resolved.
