The recently revealed Darkin/Ionian combo champion Kayn is currently being tested in the PBE along with his release skin, Soulhunter Kayn. The soul-hunting vibe fits the scythe-wielding champ well, but the truly attractive part of the skin is that it'll be completely unique for each of Kayn's three forms, something that definitely looks like a promising trend for any future skins that the assassin will receive.
With the base form that Kayn starts out as, the black and red colors have been replaced with white hair and a sickly green scythe. His assassin transformation brings back the red and white with a pretty stellar hat to top off the outfit, and the Darkin form has a green demonlike appearance that makes it look like someone who would definitely get along with Thresh. One noticable change on all forms is that the eye on his Darkin scythe is absent in this skin.
Aside from the visual appeal, Kayn's Soulhunter skin comes with some altered effects and recalls as well. The full list of what's new in the skin includes recalls specific to each transformation as well as visual and sound effect changes. While this skin is impressive itself, it means even better things looking ahead to future skins for Kayn. Other transformation champions in the past, such as Gnar, Nidalee, and Jayce, have had different appearances for each of their forms, but Kayn is the first champion to have three different possible forms to be featured in one skin. While the Soulhunter Kayn skin falls into the category of an Epic skin, any of his future skins will likely be impressive given the diversity that will go into each one.
Soulhunter Kayn, along with the champion, is currently being tested in the PBE and is expected to be released in Patch 7.14 with the skin priced at 1,350 RP.
