League Of Legends Releases New Pentakill Album, Music Video, And Merch
After teasing the return of Pentakill recently and releasing two tracks ahead of the full album, [...]
Grasp of the Undying
The full album that fans of the first project have been waiting for, Grasp of the Undying is now fully available to listen to and download through the Pentakill site, and it's absolutely free to do so.
Just like the first album that was released, each of the tracks from the newest release take the names of items from League of Legends, song titles that now sound like they were 100 percent made for such an idea when paired with this music.
You can download or listen to the music here, and if you're curious as to how the band has gotten back together after their first earth-shattering performance, you can read up on the band's new story here as well. According to the site, the album will be available for streaming through third party services like Pandora and Spotify on Aug. 4.
prevnextMortal Reminder Music Video
In addition to the full album, a music video was released yesterday for the second song off of the album, "Mortal Reminder." Making their big return to Runeterra, the Pentakill group drops in on Bandle City to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere and melt some Yordle faces.
One of the best songs off the album, "Mortal Reminder" is made that much better when paired with the music video that shows the frontrunner, Karthus, joining forces with all of his band members while also introducing Kayle into the mix. The song doesn't feature vocals from the winged champ this time, but she still makes quite the entrance.
Teemo seems to be one of the only Yordles not on board with the music, but try as he might, he can't contain their destructive sound. The Swift Scout receives some swift justice for trying to stop the music that truly has to be seen to be fully appreciate.
New Merch
No concert would be complete without being able to represent your favorite band with some merch, and Pentakill's return is no exception. In honor of their second big tour, two different items are being sold from the Riot Games merch store.
The first is a Pentakill T-shirt, the front made to commemorate the second album and the back showing off some of the tour dates and locations that Pentakill will have on their tour. Each shirt is available for $25 and can be found here.
And for the true fans who want the full experience, a VIP Concert Kit is also available, a box set that comes with guitar picks, two concert tickets, clothing patches, and other concert loot. The VIP set is also available for $25 and can be bought here.
prevnextPentakill Kayle
The newest band member to join Pentakill, Kayle has made her way into the Pentakill lineup with a new in-game skin as she lends her vocals to the group's sound alongside Karthus.
But while her sound definitely seems to mesh well with the group, the real question is when we're going to get our hands on here new Pentakill skin that trades in her golden appearance for a much darker one. With a sword/microphone combo, Kayle is more than ready to start slashing up enemies on the Rift.
Also on the Pentakill site, a section about the band reads "Available in game on 08/09/2017." From that teaser, we can assume that Kayle's skin will be available during that time as well, a date that would make sense when considering the release date of the new patch.
