Just yesterday, a teaser for League of Legends’ metal band, Pentakill, was released through the game’s Twitter and YouTube account and players quickly started speculating what we’d be receiving, and more importantly, when we’d be getting it. A new album and perhaps even some more skins were the main two possibilities that were being hoped for, and with some new content that was released today, at least one of those is most definitely on the way.

Posted to the League of Legends Pentakill site today, there are two brand new singles out from the group with more on the way soon. The first, shown above, is called “Tear of the Goddess,” and the second which can be heard here is called “The Bloodthirster.” Both of these new songs are just two singles off of the rest of the upcoming album that’s called Grasp of the Undying.

Noora Louhimo from Battle Beast can be heard in the vocals of “Tear of the Goddess,” and with the singer’s addition to the album, many players are already speculating as to whether or not this means that we’ll be getting additional Pentakill skins in-game to go along with the ones that Mordekaiser, Karthus, Sona, Olaf, and Yorick already have. Karthus is the singer for the in-game band, and with Sona being mute, players are hopeful for a new skin for a female champion. Of course, given that Pentakill has five members and five skins, adding another skin would throw off the count by one. That’d mean that it’s very likely that if one skin comes, more will follow.

Below is the full tracklist that’s been revealed so far for the upcoming album:

  • “Mortal Reminder”
  • “Rapid Firecannon”
  • “The HexCore mk-2”
  • “The Bloodthirster”
  • “Tear of the Goddess”
  • “Blade of the Ruined King”
  • “Deadman’s Plate”
  • “Frozen Heart”
  • “Infinity Edge”

DanielZKlein, one of the champion designers at League of Legends who recently created Kayn, also said that he’s heard some promising previews of more songs on the album.

“I’ve had some early previews of this album and oh dearie me, you’re not ready for ‘Blade of the Ruined King.’ May be one of my favourite songs ever now,” said Klein about one of the tracks.

There’s no release date set for the album, but the site says that it’s coming soon, and the two singles can be downloaded here.
