A new trailer for One Piece: World Seeker debuted during this past weekend's Jump Festa event in Japan, showing off the game's incredible open world and teasing some details on the story line. The game puts players in control of series hero Monkey D. Luffy for what Bandai Namco Entertainment is calling its most "ambitious" One Piece title ever. Check out the trailer below:

The game follows Luffy as he battles rival pirates and explores the wide world around him, seeking treasure and building the infamy of his crew. Details on what players can expect still remain a little vague, but once a confirmed release date rolls in, it's likely that we're going to hear more.

Along with World Seeker, a trailer and further details on the One Piece VR game, Grand Cruise, released this week. The game sets players abroad the Thousand Sunny and puts them into the shoes of a new member of the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy's Crew. The game not only immerses players into the story by letting them explore the ship and broader world of the game, but a unique interaction system also allows players to interact with and work alongside other crew members like Nami, Sanji, Zoro, and Tony Tony Chopper (just to name a few) who can respond to actions and choices made by the player in order to advance the story. Both games allow the player to encounter infamous rivals of the crew's from the manga and anime, but Grand Cruise comes with a few bonuses. It's unclear whether any additional content or bundles will also be available for World Seeker.

One Piece: World Seeker is set for release some time in 2018. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. One Piece: Grand Cruise will also be available next year, exclusively for Playstation VR.
