The move from PC to consoles has been one that Xbox One players have been waiting on for some time since the transition was teased, and thanks to the announcement from Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg, PUBG’s Brendon Greene, and Bluehole’s Chang Han Kim during Paris Games Week, we now know to expect the game in December. PUBG is scheduled for a release on the Xbox One’s Game Preview feature on Dec. 12, a date that puts them just inside their goal of releasing the game by the end of the year.

But in addition to the release date of Xbox One version of the game, the announcement stream also shared several details about what players can expect from the game as far as controls and Xbox One X enhancements are concerned.

When the game’s released on the Xbox One, PUBG veterans can expect it to have many of the same features as the PC version as well as some enhancements on the Xbox One X.

During the stream, Greene confirmed that all the controls available in the PC version will make their way onto the Xbox One version. Nothing will be omitted, and vaulting and climbing should be readily available in the game upon its release as well.

HDR is also planned to be available with the game’s release, but 4K quality will take a bit longer. Greene confirmed that it’s in the works, but it hasn’t been guaranteed to ship with the game’s release date at this time.

You can start preordering PUBG now for $30 before it’s released on Dec. 12 for the Xbox One.
