South Park: The Fractured But Whole is pulling no punches with the upcoming sequel to the previous game, The Stick of Truth. Confirmed to be uncensored and ready to rip, now's the time for players to start considering which faction they will choose when they fire up the flagellant story.

A new set of "Choose Your Faction" trailers have been released by Ubisoft asking players which one they will align themselves with in the pun-filled, grotesquely hilarious RPG. In the video above, the two opposing factions are introduced:

  • Eric Cartman's group
    • Coon and Friends: Kyle, Clyde, Jimmy, and Scott (and of course, Cartman)
  • Kenny McCormick's group
    • Mysterion and the Freedom Pals: Stan, Timmy, Token, and Tweak

Choosing a specific faction, just like any RPG, will alter the game's overall events making it even better to revisit Cartman and the gang again for future playthroughs. Who knows - maybe you'll even be brave enough to test out the controversial difficulty slider that increases the challenge of the game based on your skin colour. No topic is off limits for the South Park crew.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is set to release on October 17th, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Currently, Amazon Prime members can save 20% when they pre-order.
