Sometimes promotions are just ingenious, adding a little something extra that's unexpected, but truly awesome – and maybe beneficial for both parties involved.

We're talking about the latest promotion being hosted by Helzberg Diamonds. Usually, gamers wouldn't think twice about going to a place like that, because, man, diamonds are expensive. But they've got a great new deal where you can snag an engagement ring for your lover, and then get a little something for yourself on the side.

A Reddit user by the name of 116morningside recently pointed out the promotion, in which a customer can get a free Xbox One S system for purchasing a ring (or another given item at Helzberg) that costs over $999 or more. It's the perfect one-two opportunity where you can get something spectacular for the person you love, and a little something for yourself. They also made note explain that "this is why everyone is getting engaged."

This looks to be the basic 500GB model, with no games attached to it, so it's not like you're going to get a loaded bundle for your trouble. But a free $200+ Xbox One S system is hard to beat when you're trying to buy something of devotion for the one you love.

And, who knows, maybe you can throw in the game system alongside the engagement ring and seal the deal with your lover. "Will you marry me? Oh, hang on a second." (grabs game system) "Now will you marry me?" (Note: this may not entirely work if they were holding out for a Nintendo Switch.)

It looks like the promotion is still happening for a little while longer, so if you've been waiting for that key opportunity to buy an engagement ring or something cool for the man or woman you love, here you go.
