
Just getting started with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and finding yourself a little lost? Well, you’re about to get some help, as Nintendo is launching a new Switch channel that will provide Breath of the Wild tips and tricks. Even better, you’ll be able to earn in-game gear by checking out the channel’s articles and videos!

The “Tips from the Wild” channel is just part of a larger update that just launched for Breath of the Wild. You can check out the full notes for Zelda: Breath of the Wild update 1.3.1, below:
- We have fixed the issue in Pack 1: The Master Trials of the Expansion Pass, in which defeating certain enemies for Kilton was not counted toward completion when playing in Master Mode.
- Various fixes to improve gameplay and stability.
- Nintendo Switch only: In-game items can now be obtained from launching the software from certain articles distributed through a new News channel (“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild โ Tips from the Wild”) which can be accessed through News on the Home menu.
- Depending on your game progress and location, certain items may not be obtainable.
The Tips from the Wild channel is expected to launch tomorrow (August 9). The next big update for Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be The Champions’ Ballad, an expansion that features a new dungeon and expands the game’s backstory, further detailing Princess Zelda’s interactions with the four champions, Mipha, Daruk, Revali, and Urbosa. The Champions’ Ballad is expected to arrive this holiday season.
