There have been some pretty fantastic Wonder Woman sixth scale figures and statues released in the wake of the solo film’s box office success, but all of them seemed to falter when it came to capturing Gal Gadot’s likeness in the face sculpt. I think it’s safe to say that the talented artists working at Prime 1 Studio have come the closest to perfection with their upcoming Training Costume Wonder Woman statue.

But you be the judge. Compare it to Hot Toys’ Wonder Woman figure from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Hot Toys definitely improved the sculpt with their fantastic Wonder Woman Training Armor sixth scale figure, but I felt that they didn’t nail the face sculpt to the same degree as they have with their previous masterpieces. NECA even took a crack at a life-size foam figure replica.
Even Prime 1 faltered a bit with their Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Wonder Woman figure. Like Hot Toys, they definitely upped their game the second time around. Here’s what they had to say about the piece:
