Ant-Man and the Wasp is currently filming, and we might have just gotten some clues about one of the biggest things to expect.
A recent report from ComicBookMovie hints might give some context to a sequence recently filmed for the Marvel Studios film. According to their source, the shot of a fiery truck rolling down the street, which you can check out below, might be the bare bones of a Giant-Man sequence.
"So flatbed truck rolls down the street and stops," they explain. "And you'll notice that there's no one in the actual truck. It's being driven by a man in the back, disguised as a seat (who must feel very silly). Which, of course, means someone or something will be added in in post. Maybe it's just a normal character who they'll shoot on green screen, and he wasn't there just for security purposes. Or maybe it's a weird CGI man. Or something else. The possibilities are endless."
While this might spark a wide array of options, especially considering the film's expansive cast, the source goes on to argue that the stunt involves Giant-Man.
"And you'll also notice that it raises up slightly after stopping," they add. "And the man with the megaphone was telling the extras, "Look at it! What is it? It's 25 feet tall!" So my guess here is that someone is driving down the street with a massive CGI thing, (maybe using Giant Man tech?) and that thing steps off the bed of the truck, which makes it lift up."
This isn't the first possible Giant-Man sketch that fans have gotten a sneak peek to, with a car being tossed rather violently into an alley looking like a similar feat. Fans will have to wait and see if Giant-Man ends up being involved with either stunt, when Ant-Man and the Wasp flies into theaters July 6, 2018.
