Wonder Woman may the Hollywood's biggest heroine at the moment, but Marvel Studios could be looking to knock the icon down a notch. The MCU does have its share of female superheroes, but Tessa Thompson is pitching an all-female ensemble for the franchise. And, according to a new interview, it seems most of the MCU's ladies are down for the idea.

Recently, Thompson spoke with CBR to promote Thor: Ragnarok, and it was there the star elaborated on the movie pitch she gave to Kevin Feige. The actress previously told fans she approached the Marvel Studios head about such a project, but Thompson failed to mention she had the support of Scarlett Johansson and more.

"I think in that group was Brie Larson, myself, Zoe Saldana, although she ran off to the bathroom, I think, so she came midway through the pitch but she had been in the rev-up to it," Thompson recalled. "Scarlett Johansson. Pom [Klementieff] and Karen [Gillan], who are both in the Guardians movies. Yeah, I think it was that group. We were just sort of all in a semicircle talking, and it just came up, because none of us really worked together – well, I suppose Zoe, and Karen, and Pom – and wouldn't it be nice if we could all work together?"

Continuing, Thompson said the girls all decided to bring the pitch to Feige after a bit of speculation.

"And we were sort of speculating on they ways in which it might happen in Infinity War, or might not happen," Thompson said. "And we thought, 'No, we should just have a whole movie where we know every day we're going to arrive and get to work together.' So we just ran right up to Kevin Feige and started talking about it."

According to the Thor star, Feige did not shy away from the idea; the producer has said there are no plans to develop an all-female film for the MCU currently, but Thompson praised Feige for opening up to the pitch.

"That's the thing that's so fantastic about Kevin is you always get general interest from him," Thompson explained. "At least when you start speaking, and then you might get 10 minutes in, and you sense that maybe something is not as exciting. But no, he's really open to collaboration and wants to hear what we're interested in."
