Back in November, Avengers: Infinity War actor Sebastian Stan got Marvel fans buzzing by the way he signed a Captain America: The Winter Solider poster at a fan convention. Stan drew a beard and mustache on Chris Evan's Captain America, and he wrote "Ah, I'm Nomad" next to the image.

Of course, comic book fans have been speculating that Chris Evans would adopt his Nomad identity ever since the first images and footage from Avengers: Infinity War showed the star sporting a beard and mustache. Stan's embellishment of the poster was like pouring gasoline on a fire, and the poster quickly went viral online.

In a new interview with MTV, Stan was asked about the rumor he helped to create. "A fan said to me that you can add anything you want on Chris' face, and I was like, 'It's either a thought bubble or it's that, so," said Stan.

When MTV's Josh Horowitz pressed for more details on if fans could expect Chris Evans as Nomad in the future, Stan elaborated on his creative drawing. "You can expect whatever you want. First of all, I wasn't even the first person to say that. Somebody else had gone out and said, 'He's Nomad,' or something," said Stan.

"He is missing the star on his chest, so I don't know what that means," added Stan. "The way it's been going I would be on set and go, 'So you are missing the star on the chest, does that mean that you're [Nomad]?' I would probably discover it in the moment."

Avengers: Infinity War is set to release in movie theaters on May 4, 2018.
