The latest storyline of Agents of SHIELD ended with a literal bang before making way for the next 'pod,' Agents of HYDRA.
Before the real Daisy and Jemma Simmons could journey into the Framework to retrieve their friends, the LMD May made an explosive sacrifice that might have taken care of most of those copies.
Surely May's blast didn't get ALL of the LMD Daisys (Daisies?), right? There were about 20 of them! And the Fitz LMD did activate "seek and destroy" mode…
Executive producer Jed Whedon spoke about the possibility of seeing the Daisy LMDs again when the show returns.
BACK TO LIFE: Another Dead Character Might Return To Agents Of SHIELD
"When we come back, we'll see how big of an explosion it really was," Whedon said to EW. "The idea was May sacrifices herself to try to put an end to what they're doing."
So that could mean that May completely wiped out hangar and all of the LMDs stored there, or it could mean that some were left and could be causing havoc while the rest of the Agents of SHIELD are trapped in the parallel world within the Framework.
We'll find out when the Agents of
SHIELD HYDRA return to ABC in April, and hopefully learn more about what all of those Daisy LMDs were meant for…
