ABC has released the first sneak peek from next Tuesday's "Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire" episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Simmons goes to check out a "cozy" and "charming" apartment for her and Fitz (who is too busy to join her because he's secretly working on AIDA) after receiving an email offer, but when she gets to the door of the apartment, she senses something is amiss and pulls out her gun. As Simmons scans the area, the apartment door shuts behind her, and she's shocked to see Daisy there and bleeding badly.
As Ghost Rider's quest for vengeance brings him into an explosive confrontation with S.H.I.E.L.D., Coulson and Mack must rely on an unlikely ally in their time of desperate need; and Daisy reunites with a familiar face to stop the Watchdogs.
The show stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, and Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie.
The guest cast includes John Hannah as Holden Radcliffe, Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, Mallory Jansen as Aida, Axle Whitehead as James, Jose Zuniga as Eli Morrow, Kerr Smith as Joseph, Phil Tyler as watchdog #1, Sergio Enrique as guard, Tanner Fontana as Elliot, and Lilli Birdsell as Lucy.
The episode was written by Matt Owens and directed by Brad Turner.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was co-created by Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen (Dollhouse, Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog), who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell (Angel, Alias) and Jeph Loeb (Jessica Jones, Daredevil). Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
"Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire" episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air Tuesday, October 18 at 10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT on the ABC Television Network.
