'Agents of SHIELD' Season 5 Poster Released

In just a couple of weeks, Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is set to make its Friday night debut on ABC, and the comic series is getting an out-of-this-world makeover for Season 5.

On Thursday morning, IGN revealed the a clip from the new installment, which features the previously-grounded agency heading to space and fighting with a group of aliens. In addition to the action-packed clip, the site also unveiled the first poster from the season.

As you can see below, the fan-favorite SHIELD agents are going all-in with this space adventure. Especially Mack (Henry Simmons), who looks full equipped to fight off some extra-terrestrial danger.

Joining Mack are the rest of the core SHIELD members, Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Agent May (Ming-Na Wen), Daisy (Chloe Bennet), Fitz (Iain Caestecker), Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Yo-Yo (Natalia Cordova-Buckley).

While not featured on the poster, it has also been revealed that Lance Hunter, played by Nick Blood, will be returning to Agents of SHIELD in some capacity this season. It will be interesting to see how he makes his comeback, considering the show has taken things to outer space.

Agents of SHIELD will premiere its fifth season on ABC on Friday, December 1 at 9 p.m. ET.
