Well, it looks like it's official at this point. The Avengers: Infinity War trailer is going to arrive this week.
On Monday, Joe and Anthony Russo posted an image of cartoon Number 3, and fans wondered if that possibly meant the trailer was arriving in three days. Some took it to mean that the trailer would arrive on December 3. On Tuesday, the directors confirmed which theory was correct.
The Russo Brothers took to Facebook on Tuesday to share another tease about the upcoming trailer, posting a cartoon Number 2. Rather than a hint at the release date of the trailer, the Russos were posting a countdown.
This means the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War is arriving this week, but the final date is still unclear. The countdown will get to Number 1 on Wednesday. That could mean that the trailer is one day away, arriving on Thursday, or it could mean that the countdown has reached its end, launching the trailer on Wednesday.
Either way, the trailer is on the way, and the internet is already set to explode. Be sure to keep your eyes glued to the Russo Brothers' Facebook for any new updates.
UPDATE: Marvel Studios has released a teaser video, which you can watch above, confirming the official trailer is arriving on Wednesday.
