Deadpool "Blind Al" Featurette Released

With Deadpool now available on digital HD and coming out on DVD and Blu-ray next month, 20th Century Fox has released a new featurette focused on Wade Wilson's visually-impaired roommate, Blind Al, who was played by Broadway performer Leslie Uggams.

"She's old, but she's feisty," says Uggams in the video. "She's got a lot of oomph. And she doesn't let her blindness stop her from doing things. It's like Abbott and Costello, you know, their relationship. They're perfect together."

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool comes to Blu-ray™ and DVD on May 10.
