After all, the concept artist did just share a sketch of what he first thought the heroine would look like.

Over on Instagram, Park shared a new piece of concept art he did for Guardians of the Galaxy. The artist, who has worked on numerous MCU films, posted the piece to give fans a look into what Gamora may have looked like.

As you can see above, Gamora’s outfit is very different from the one she ends up wearing. The artwork lends itself more to the character’s comic aesthetic as her bodysuit has a deep-v neck and pairs with a hooded cloak. The outfit has a duller color palatte and way more straps. The heroine is also seen carrying a sword to her side, and Gamora looks ready to step on any enemy who dares step in her way.

“This is the same version I posted previously but with a cloak on,” Park captioned the image. “I always thought she’d look great with a more mysterious feel to her like the assassin she used to be.”

Of course, this isn’t the only bit of concept art which Park did for Gamora. In the past, the artist posted a piece he did of the heroine with purple skin. The photo, which can be seen here, shows Gamora with vibrant purple skin and distinct facial markings. The look is a major departure from the one Gamora rocks in the Marvel Universe, but it did give her a mottled visage like her step-sister Nebula.
