Fans have been eagerly anticipating a new Justice League trailer ever since the first snippet of footage was shown at least year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Now a certain movie director is asking for it as well, on the behalf of a fan that is.

SuperBroMovies posted a tweet saying “Tomorrow is my birthday… @mang0ld or @ZackSnyder could one of y’all give me a nice present? (a trailer).” The polite request reached Logan director James Mangold, who unfortunately won’t be able to satisfy the request. He did, however, petition on SuperBroMovies behalf to Justice League director Zack Snyder, saying “@SuperBroMovies @ZackSnyder Zack? Can you help this guy out? I can’t.”

The likelihood of it happening at all is very slim when you think about it, but the fact that they’re even willing to acknowledge the request is pretty cool in itself. Who knows, maybe he’ll get a new trailer and forever have a pretty fantastic story to tell at future birthday parties.

You can find the official descriptions for both films below.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroesโ€”Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flashโ€”it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarรกn Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Logan), Boyd Holbrook (Donald Pierce), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Dafne Keen (Laura Kinney/X-23), Doris Morgado (Maria), Stephen Merchant (Caliban), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Gabriela), and Richard E. Grant (Dr. Zander Rice). James Mangold is directing and helped on the screenplay along with Scott Frank and Michael Green.

“In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”

Justice League hits theaters on November 11, 2017, while Logan lands in theaters on March 3, 2017.
