If you saw Captain America: Civil War, then you had to walk away loving Ant-Man a little more than you did before. The pint-sized hero proved his immeasurable worth in the film by taking down Iron Man and even chucking a plane at War Machine.
And, now, fans have been gifted with some behind-the-scenes concept art of Ant-Man wrecking Iron Man's suit from the inside.
Artist Jackson Sze uploaded the concept art to his Instagram earlier today. "Thank you for the follows! Here is an illustration of #antman about to wreck #ironman from the inside out in #captainamericacivilwar," he wrote.
Of course, this isn't the only concept art that has been released from Captain America: Civil War. Artist Andy Park has been the main source of the special gifts over on Instagram. This summer, Park shared pictures of Giant-Man and and Captain America for all his followers to fangirl over.
Marvel's Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly-formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity, but after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
The film stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd and Frank Grillo, William Hurt and Daniel Brühl.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee served as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
