The Russo brothers, the directors of Captain America: Civil War, posted a video message to fans thanking them for the "overwhelming" response to the film. The pair sent the message while Joe held Cap's shield, and a strategically placed Winter Soldier statue/figure looked on from behind them.

The pair have already moved on, of course, working full time now on Avengers: Infinity War. While they were editing Civil War, they were already also in story meetings for their two-movie Avengers epic, working back-and-forth between the two. They tease that next film, as like fans, even they're looking toward the next big thing.

Civil War was certified fresh at Rotten Tomatoes with 90% positive reviews, and at an 88.14 Comicbook composite and 4.54/5 average from our readership, has rocketed to the #2 movie in our comicbook movie rankings.
