Marvel Studios has refined their movie-making process to a point where there are a lot of consistencies in their various productions, such as editing and visual effects and additional photography.
Though principal photography for the film wrapped up in Queensland, Australia, last October, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that Marvel Studios is looking to cast extras for Taika Waititi's movie in the Atlanta area.
Filming will take place on July 12 and 19, and they're looking to cast "Caucasian-looking men who are over 18 and between 5'10" and 6'1"."
The listing also states, "You must be very physically fit, with muscular and defined arms."
It'll be interesting to see what scene Marvel is adding into the finished film, and we'll find out when Thor: Ragnarok premieres on November 3.
In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first, he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – The Incredible Hulk!
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi from a screenplay by Eric Pearson, and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins.
