With a plethora of different Marvel Cinematic Universe cameos - and a mind-blowing connection between them - under Stan Lee's belt, expectations for future cameos are pretty high. But according to those involved with Thor: Ragnarok, Lee's cameo in the upcoming film will definitely deliver.
In a video montage of Marvel stars that was shown during Lee's imprint ceremony at Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theater, Ragnarok's Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi were shown wishing the 95-year-old legend well wishes. And along the way, they made some pretty big claims about Lee's cameo in Ragnarok.
"We're here shooting [Ragnarok]," revealed Hemsworth, who stars in the film as the god of thunder, "In which you did a cameo today, which is your best one yet, I think."
"[I] met you the other day." Waititi explained. "You came in and... your cameo is one of the funniest things in the film."
Ragnarok promises to bring a lovable version of the title character, which is sure to extend to the remainder of the film - including Lee's cameo. Little is known about the Marvel icon's appearance in the space-trotting epic, but it's sure to be as colorful and unique as what fans have already seen of the upcoming film.
