This year, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be kicking off its newest phase when titles like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 get their debut. The franchise will continue to expand with Spider-Man: Homecoming, and the fall will usher in the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok. The latter film will make the third feature dedicated to the Asgardian god, and the folks behind the venture have stressed it will be the best yet. Now, in a recent interview with IGN, one of the movie's star is opening up about his devilish role.
So, surprise! Get ready to see Loki and Thor share some good-old brotherly moments with one another.
Not long ago, Tom Hiddleston was asked about his role in Thor: Ragnarok during his promotions for Kong: Skull Island. It was there that the British star explained just how Loki would be brought closer to Thor thanks to the film's villain - even if just for a moment.
"At the beginning of Ragnarok, Thor has a lot of questions, and Loki - true to form - is not that forthcoming with many answers. But hammers are involved and the stakes are raised," Hiddleston said.
"Cate Blanchett is playing the goddess of death who brings destruction in her wake. It's the kind of destruction that both Thor and Loki have never seen, on a scale of terror they've never ever seen before. So, they fall back on their brotherhood fractured though it is to see what they can do to stop her.
