Wolverine 3: Logan Trailer Officially Released

Wolverine 3 (aka Logan) is one X-Men movie that fans have been looking forward to with growing enthusiasm. Bringing back franchise star Hugh Jackman for one last time in the role, Logan is taking an ambitious storytelling approach.

Set in the year 2024, we find the X-Men are all but gone, save an aging Logan and Prof. X, whose respective powers are fading. Meanwhile, a shady corporation called Transigen is turning mutant children into weapons and…you can see in the trailer above what sort of conflicts that sets up for Wolverine.

This trailer has so many great Easter egg and character cameos: The “Old Man Logan” connections are on full display; but fans will no doubt be mainly talking and speculating about the future of the young mutant who will be X-23.

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017, followed by Deadpool 2 on January 12, 2018. Movie versions of Gambit, New Mutants and X-Force are still being developed.
