Transformers: The Last Knight is about to hit theaters, once again bring the mix of big robot warriors that fans love to see - and all the human characters they only marginally care about.

After actor Shia LaBeouf led the franchise for Michael Bay's first trilogy of Transformers films, Mark Wahlberg stepped in to take of over the role of 'main human character' in Transformers: Age of Extinction. However, unlike LaBeouf, Wahlberg won't be hanging in there for a full trilogy - as the actor has revealed that Transformers 5 will be his final installment of the franchise.

Wahlberg appeared on the UK series The Graham Norton Show, where he dropped the following bombshell on Transformers movie fans when discussing The Last Knight: "It's the last one so I get my life back!"

In explaining what "life" he wants back, Wahlberg detailed the demanding fitness regiment for becoming a Michael Bay leading man - and the terrible haircut he was forced to wear for The Last Knight. Well, the Transformers movies have a reputation for having some pretty hard demands of its female leads (The Michael Bay vs. Megan Fox rivalry has become a thing of legend) - it's kind of (nice? Disturbing?) to hear that the male actors have suffered the same.

Meanwhile, Wahlberg won't be the only big name the franchise loses after this latest chapter:
