Happy Alien Day, indeed! The highly-anticipated Alien: Covenant has just released a prologue clip for the film, and fans are finally getting a chance to see what happened to David and Shaw have been up to since Prometheus ended.
In the new video, titled 'The Crossing', the synthetic being named David (Michael Fassbender) puts Shaw (Noomi Rapace) to sleep on their ship. They are heading off to try and find the creators once more. This mission is what led the team to its demise in the first place.
It was known that Covenant would follow-up the events of Prometheus, and that David would appear in the new film, but there was no word as to what he was up to between the two movies. This clip answers that question, and gets everyone even more excited for Alien: Covenant's release next month.
