The next Marvel Studios blockbuster is almost on the way, with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hitting theaters this week. The film will not only be the second entry in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it will be a culmination of one of the most ambitious and unique entries that the world of superhero movies has ever had. Piggybacking off of the events of the first two films, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 brings back writer-director James Gunn — as well as the ensemble cast of Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and more — for another adventure. It seems like fans can expect an emotional finale for the team, along with the introduction of new characters like Adam Warlock, the High Evolutionary, and Lylla.
