Porgs, the adorable penguin-like creatures in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, have quickly become worldwide phenomenon ever since being featured in the film's trailer. It seems like the entire galaxy loves these little guys! Well, everyone except Chewbacca, that is.
In the newest TV spot for The Last Jedi, Chewie takes his aggression out on one of the porgs in a move that's sure to upset some of the fans who have taken to the new franchise additions.
At the end of the spot, which you can watch above, the porg on the dash of the Millenium Falcon cries out as he has done in many of the trailer. This time though, Chewie has had enough. The giant Wookie quickly swipes at the porg, knocking him off of his perch.
The rest of the spot is filled with a few other new shots from the upcoming Star Wars film. Most notably, Captain Phasma makes an appearance in one scene. The character has oddly been missing from most of the film's advertising to this point.
Directed by Rian Johnson, and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and Carrie Fisher, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to hit theaters on December 15, 2017.
