Whenever the LEGO Group makes an exclusive item tied to an event, it's usually considered among the top prizes one can claim.
Their San Diego Comic-Con exclusives usually fetch up to three times their retail value on sites like eBay several years after they release, and their May the 4th Star Wars promotions—like last year's Space Slug set—are highly coveted by those who manage to snag one.
And based on their offering for Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, this set won't be any different.
Showcasing one of the most exciting moments from the original Star Wars: A New Hope, the Detention Block Rescue features Han Solo and Luke Skywalker disguised as Stormtroopers, attempting a daring rescue in the prison ward of the Death Star.
The set contains 220 pieces and will retail for $40, however it can only be obtained if you're attending Star Wars Celebration and are selected to purchase via lottery.
There are limited quantities available, so LEGO will be highly selective with the lottery.
You can enter now at by clicking here and filling out your information, as well as by checking which dates you'll be attending. Deadline to apply is Friday, April 6, at 12:01am EST (AKA, Thursday evening). Selected winners will be notified April 7. You'll only be able to purchase the item on days you're attending Celebration, which seems kind of obvious but hey, we gotta tell ya.
