The Force is strong with this Rogue One!
After pocketing another $19.9 million overseas on Wednesday, pushing its international cume to $295.2 million, and $18.1 million stateside, pushing its domestic cume to $358.6 million, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has now grossed $653.8 million at the worldwide box office and is expected to surpass $700 million some time tomorrow.
Domestically, Rogue One is within $10 million of cracking the 2016 top three. Globally, it is within $3 million of passing Marvel's Doctor Strange ($656.7 million) and cracking the 2016 top-ten.
Disney and Lucasfilm's first standalone Star Wars film opened South Korean box office on Wednesday, finishing in second-place and pulling in $900K. Over in the UK, Rogue One has crossed the $50 million mark; however, that figure would be closer to $63 million if the pound hadn't plummeted after Brexit.
