For nearly two years, fans have been trying to solve a variety of mysteries presented by The Force Awakens, from the true identity of Supreme Leader Snoke to Rey's heritage. One mystery that seems to have been put on the backburner for most fans is Finn's backstory, knowing only that he was taken as a young boy to become a member of the First Order. Dole, an official promotional partner for The Last Jedi, may have just revealed Finn's birthplace in an online quiz.

***WARNING: Potential spoilers for The Last Jedi***

On Dole's website, fans are encouraged to answer a series of questions that results in a personality description that compares you to a character from the upcoming film. Following a specific set of answers, you could potentially get Finn, whose home planet the site claims is Artorias.

The planet lies in the Outer Rim and is populated by humans, Gungans, Twi'leks and more. You might not be familiar with the planet, as it was only featured in what was previously known as the "Expanded Universe."

For those familiar with that universe, you might remember that the character Finn Galfridian also hailed from that planet, who was a Force-sensitive member of royalty who would eventually be trained by Luke Skywalker.

This information could mean a variety of things. One theory is that, while compiling information about the various characters to include on the quiz, someone with the company merely tried searching the internet for the information, came across Finn Galfridian, and incorporated that character's home planet as a substitute for The Last Jedi's Finn.

If you take the quiz and get Rey as a result, her home planet is listed as Jakku. Clearly this is at least somewhat accurate, but with how little we know about Rey, it's possible whoever wrote the quiz merely wrote Jakku as that's where we meet the character and isn't officially her birthplace.

Another possibility is that, given Dole is an official promotional partner, this information is correct and Finn was born on this planet, with Lucasfilm paying homage to the Expanded Universe character.

Yet another interpretation would be that Lucasfilm not only incorporated this piece of information, but plans to revive the character Finn Galfridian to officially make canon as the character portrayed by John Boyega. Considering Star Wars Rebels introduced Thrawn from the Expanded Universe, officially making him canon, this might be the live-action universe's way of bringing in fan-favorite mythologies from non-canon stories.

We'll see more of Finn when The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15.
