One of the most intriguing characters of the new Star Wars trilogy is also the most mysterious, having appeared on screen for limited scenes in Star Wars: The Force Awakens despite constantly being referred to.

Supreme Leader Snoke has taken the place of the Emperor as the insidious leader of villainous forces, and his appearance in the film caused massive amounts of speculation. While we’re anxiously waiting to find out more about this character in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, some new details can be gleaned based on some new LEGO sets to be released on Force Friday.

The packaging for three new LEGO sets leaked to the public via Reddit, revealing a large set for a new version of an iconic Star Wars ship. The First Order Star Destroyer appears to be the biggest set of the new wave, offering characters six minifigures: First Order Officer, First Order Shuttle Pilot, First Order Stormtrooper, First Order Stormtrooper Sergeant, BB-9E, and Supreme Leader Snoke!

This is Snoke’s first appearance as a part of the merchandising for the new Star Wars Trilogy, and his appearance here might not seem like a big deal, but a little bit of analysis reveals some more details about this mysterious character.

Snoke was projected as a large, imposing hologram resting on a stone throne in The Force Awakens but apparently that image was simply enlarged. Snoke appears to be the same (relative) size as other characters, meaning he isn’t some heretofore unseen giant alien in the Star Wars universe.

Also notable are Snoke’s ornate robes. He appears to have a flare for regal clothing, unlike the Emperor.

The Supreme Leader also has flesh-colored skin, which was not discernible from the hologram projection where he had a sickly blue hue. That’s not as surprising, but the fleshy skin almost gives him a humanoid appearance. If you look closely, you can see the damaged flesh on the face of the minifigure.

Snoke might not be a human, but he appears to be more human-like than The Force Awakens let on.

With everything we’ve learned based on this little picture, it’s obvious why Lucasfilm wants to keep anything related to Snoke under wraps for as long as possible, lest fan speculation spoils some revelations taking place in the upcoming movie.

Is Snoke a brand new character previously unseen? Or someone that’s been hinted at in Star Wars lore? Will people start thinking that he’s Darth Plagueis again?

Let us know what you think, but we’ll find out more when Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in theaters December 15.
