The first weekend of October is going to be a great one for movie and TV fans, thanks to all of the new additions hitting streaming services like Netflix, HBO Max, and Peacock. The start of the month on Wednesday brought hordes of new titles to all of the major streamers, and that run of new additions is going to continue over the next several days.

Friday is going to be the biggest streaming day of the weekend, which is par for the course with most of these services. Netflix will be adding every episode of Monster: The Ed Gein Story on Friday morning, which sees Charlie Hunnam take on the role of the infamous killer. On the opposite end of the TV spectrum, Disney+ will be releasing a new Spidey and His Amazing Friends Halloween episode.
That same day will see new 2025 release movies arrive on multiple different streaming services. The twisted and traumatic A24 horror film Bring Her Back will make its streaming debut on HBO Max, while comedic mystery Honey Don’t will begin streaming on Peacock.
