Since premiering in January, Riverdale has garnered quite a bit of attention, with many praising its surreal, often-dark adaptation of the Archie Comics world. But if you want to see Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, and company behaving a little more lighthearted - a recently-released blooper reel is right up your alley.
The video was first screened during the show's San Diego Comic-Con panel, along with a first look at the show's sophomore season. You can check out the blooper reel below.
The video doesn't reveal anything extra about the show's first season, but it's still pretty amusing nonetheless. There's quite a bit of gibberish, silly faces, and mishaps with various props.
If nothing else, watch for Cole Sprouse (who plays Jughead Jones on the show) trying to convince his canine scene partner to 'go method', and KJ Apa (Archie Andrews) pretending to make out with a stuffed animal.
There's sure to be plenty more off-screen silliness during Riverdale's twenty-two episode second season, which is currently filming in Vancouver.
Riverdale's second season will premiere on a new night, on Wednesday, October 11th, at 8/7c, on The CW.

The first season of RIVERDALE found our characters reeling from the tragic death of high school golden boy Jason Blossom. For many who had seen their home as perfect, safe, and innocent, the investigation into Jason's murder peeled back the layers of their hometown to reveal a place bubbling over with secrets, mysteries, and scandals. As the town breathed a collective sigh of relief that Jason's killer had been found out, another terrible crime occurred, in a space that had been considered one of the town's safest, most innocent places. If Jason Blossom's murder revealed the slimy underbelly beneath Riverdale's surface, as we enter Season Two, the shooting of Fred Andrews threatens to plunge the entire town into utter darkness.
Based on the characters from Archie Comics, RIVERDALE is from Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions, with executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Supergirl, Glee), Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow), Sarah Schechter (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow) and Jon Goldwater (Archie Comics).
