Ms. Lint is a scary individual, and if you need a primer look no further than this new clip from The Tick.

As you see in the clip, Ms. Lint (played by Yara Martinez) isn’t thrilled with the big blue guy and his sidekick messing in her affairs. Unfortunately for Arthur, The Tick isn’t around at the moment, leaving him to deal with Lint’s wrath solo.

Arthur thinks Lint is an agent of The Terror, but even if she’s not, Lint isn’t someone you want to go messing with if you can help it. As for her suspected boss, the role of The Terror is being played by Jackie Earle Haley, who most will know from his Watchmen role of Rorschach. Unlike that project, The Tick is more of a lighthearted romp through superhero culture, which Haley described to ComicBook.com at San Diego Comic-Con.

“It’s definitely a parody, a comic book parody,” Haley added. “But it’s really grounded. And I think Arthur and Dot [Valorie Curry] really help ground it. They’re the most real. It’s not to say there’s a lot of funny stuff still going on. My character is just evil incarnate, periodโ€ฆ We’re trying to own everything and play everything in such a way that I think we really earn the laughs and the grounding earns the ability for the Tick to be super funny and super ridiculous, but like he said he also has this heart. He’s the epitome of the perfect superhero. He doesn’t have this dark backstory that he’s dealing with. He’s actually trying to figure out who the heck he is. And all of his intentions are always the right, perfect intentions. And he’s helping Arthur figure out who he is, and Arthur’s helping him figure out who he is.”

You can find more of Haley’s conversation with ComicBook.com here, and the official description for The Tick can be found below.

In a world where superheroes have been real for decades, an accountant with mental health issues and zero powers comes to suspect his city is owned by a global super villain long-thought dead. As he struggles to uncover the conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero. They launch into an adventure brimming with crazed archvillains, blood-soaked vigilantes, and superhuman freakery.

The Tick hits Amazon on August 25, 2017.
