We only got a small taste of the Nikki Bella and Natalya feud last night when Nikki stated in an interview that she would have something to say to Natalya’s face next week on Smackdown. The promise didn’t last long as the two Total Divas let their feud spill over to Twitter.

The biggest twist to the feud could be the sudden involvement of WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart. As Bret is the uncle of Nattie, and tag team partner of her father Jim The Anvil Neidhart, it was surprising to see him tweet a photo praising Nikki Bella.

The WWE loves bringing legends back into current storylines and as we’ve seen with Ric Flair, the women’s division has become a surprisingly effective place to do this. Hart taking Nikki’s side would be a great way to generate even more heat for Natalya as their feud heads into the new year.
