It was learned earlier today that Seth Rollins was injured during his Monday Night RAW throwdown with a debuting Samoa Joe. While it’s still unknown how severe the injury is, Rollins has reached out to the fans on social media.

It seems Rollins reinjured his right knee, the knee he originally injured at a house show in Dublin back in 2014.

Rollins tweeted out “Wanted to take a second to thank everyone who has reached out to me over the last two days. Life doesn’t always go your way, but that is no excuse to surrender. If anything, obstacles exist to help us grow and evolve. This reinjury to my surgically repaired knee is real and a lot is up in the air right now, but one thing remains constant: my resolve. This doesn’t end for me until I’ve reclaimed the throne And for me, fighting and defeating Triple H is the only way. I will work harder than I ever have and push myself beyond what I know. This isn’t over. The only way to wear the crown is to slay the king. I know what must be done and there’s nothing that can stop me.”

Rollins is scheduled to get his injury evaluated this week, and many are hopeful he will only have to miss weeks as opposed to months like before. Some were also hoping that this was just a work designed to bring more heat to Samoa Joe, but that is evidently not the case.
Regardless of when he comes back, fans know that he’ll come back even stronger than before.
