Only three weeks after suffering a torn MCL, Seth Rollins will be returning to RAW. Well, sort of. The WWE announced last night that Rollins would be having an exclusive interview to be aired when RAW comes to Green Bay.

That they’re doing an interview like this would seem to indicate good news for Rollins’ Wrestlemania status. Rumors and reports have suggested WWE has been hopeful all along he would be ready to return from his recent knee injury in time for his highly anticipated clash with Triple H. Normally, when a superstar is too injured to compete, WWE does the best they can to keep that star out of the public eye in order to maximize the surprise of their eventual return.
Another positive hint came last night on RAW when Mick Foley told Stephanie she was the reason Seth Rollins would be missing a second straight Wrestlemania. If Rollins was truly going to miss Mania, it’s highly unlikely this would be the first place we were hearing about it. Real injury updates come from the official WWE site, not from an off handed comment by a television GM.
It’s possible Rollins will give an update on his injury during next week’s interview and possibly even lay out his plans for a Wrestlemania return. While the injury to his knee is terribly unfortunate, it has added another layer to a feud that otherwise had almost gotten stale before it even began.
