Funko seems to have a POP! for every genre and type of media there is, but in actuality, that is far from the case.

For as many shows, games, books, films, and franchises the popular toy company has covered, there are tons more that are worthy of the POP! treatment.

Even franchises that have their own series of POP!s contain characters that have been left out, so we thought we’d take a look at some of the biggest snubs so far and shine a light on them. There wasn’t really a specific requirement for consideration,as your love of certain franchises or genres may vary, but we did try and get a mix from all aspects of the geek culture universe.

Funko is introducing new releases all the time, so it’s very likely some of these could already be in pre-production, but as it currently stands, here are our top 10 characters that deserve their own Funko POP!

WWE: Charlotte Vs Sasha Banks Two-Pack

A few members of the WWE Women’s Divisionย have received their own POP! already, includingย Nikki and Brie Bella, Paige, AJ Lee, and most recently Eva Marie. That said, none of those superstars headlined a WWE pay-per-view, nonetheless Hell in a Cell.

That is all the more reason that Funko and WWE should release a Hell in the Cell two-pack featuring Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks. It can be exclusive to Walmart, Target, Toy R’Us or whoever else they want to give it two, but regardless of who sells it, the two-pack will likely sell out.

Both superstars should be featured in their Hell in a Cell gear, and the set should come with a Women’s Championship belt to place in between them.

Classic TV: I Love Lucy Two-Pack

For anyone who grew up with classic TV shows or even caught up with them in reruns on Nick at Nite, there are few more well known and beloved than the I Love Lucy Show, and how there isn’t already a Lucille Ball POP! is beyond me.

That said, if they are going to do one, they should make it a two-pack with a Desi Arnez (Ricky Ricardo) alongside Lucy. Lucy is known for her bevy of outfits, but her dress from the iconic “Lucy Does A TV Commercial”ย episode or the one she wears on “The Business Manager”ย would be great choices. As for Ricky, give him a tux and a hat and he’s done.

As a bonus, their bases should be the pillow heart design seen in the beginning credits.

WWE: Goldberg

Goldberg made his long awaited return to the WWE a few weeks ago after being away from professional wrestling for 12 years, and the occasion deserves some Funko recognition.

He’ll be facing down Brock Lesnar in a match at this month’s Survivor Series, but Brock has already received a POP!, so Goldbrg should get his own. His design would be rather simple, as he just has black trunks and black boots, but Funko’s sculpting has improved drastically over the years, so they can add some addtional details in his goatee and with his tattoos.

There is a part of me that would love to have some sort of sparks effect behind him, but that kind of extra doesn’t typically get incuded, at least not now.

Ghost In The Shell: Major Motoko Kusanagi

Studios are all about synergy, and whileย the casting of Ghost in the Shell’s feature film has received its fair share of criticism, the film is going to be big, especially with Scarlett Johansson attached.

It also helps that Ghost in the Shell is one of the most popular animes in fandom, and it’s sort of a surprise that Major Motoko Kusangi hasn’t already been featured in Funko’s anime line of POP!s. Funko could right that slight by releasing a set tied in with the movie, with her trusty pistol in hand. If they wanted to create a variant, they could always make a semi-translucent version, showing her coming out of camouflage.

If they didn’t want to go the pistol route, a sniper rifle version would also be an option.

Dragon Age: Inquisition – Iron Bull

Bioware’s Dragon Age series has produced a variety of beloved characters since the series debuted, but it’s hard to argue that one of the best characters in their latest game happens to be Iron Bull.

Iron Bull is one of your early allies in Dragon Age: Inquisition, and he quickly became a fan favorite for his endearing personality and his ferocity in combat. A brilliant vocal performance by Freddie Prince Jr didn’t hurt either, and the character should have a POP! post haste.

Iron Bull should have a massive two handed weaponย on his back and a mug of beer in his hand, and would even be better if he came in a supersized 6-inch model.

DC Comics: Kilowog

The DC Comics catalog of POP!s is constantly growing, and whether you love the TV side of things like Arrow and The Flash, or the comics based charcters like Power Girl and Black Manta, there is something for everyone.

That is also true of Green Lantern, as there is both a Hal Jordan and a Sinestro (green lantern version) in the current roster, but there is one Lantern in particular that demands a supersized 6-inch POP!, and that’s the drill sargant Kilowog. He’s been a cosntant in the Green Lantern Corp, there are many fans who would love to add him to their collections right next to Hal, especially if they refelect the differece in scale.

He could come with a Green Lantern symbol base, with a handwritten note on it that reads “No Poozers Allowed”.

WWE: Shinsuke Nakamura

NXT is booming right now, which is saying something since they’ve recently lost a varity of their talent to the main roster.ย A big part of that continued success is the practiioner of strong style himself, Shinsuke Nakamura.

The performers is endlessly charasimatic, and demands a Funko POP! to call his own. He should be doing one of his trademark quirky psoes, poinitng out at the crowd, and a cool detail to throw in would be the includison of his black mouthpiece.

The solo POP! should come with the NXT championshipp belt as a prop for the base.

Classic TV: JB Fletcher And Matlock Two-Pack

If you’ve ever turned on WGN at 12 to 2pm, you’ve likely seenย a rerun of the Angela Lansbury starring Murder She Wrote or the Andy Griffith vehicle Matlock. The two are stalwarts of daytime television these days, and Netflix has recently introduced Murder She Wrote to a whole new audience. Thus, the two should be included in a Classic TV two-pack.

Landsbury should be featured with her trademark typewriter, and her glasses could be an optional accessory.ย Right next to her should be Matlock, wearing his constant grey suit. There are some who won’t know either of them on shelves, but if made on a limited run, the two should do quite well for Funko, as both shows are looked at fondly by audiences.

Portal: Glados

The cake is a lie has become a shorthand geek salute ever since the release of Valve’s first Portal game, and that is thanks to the popularity of Glados.

Even peopleย who haven’t played the Portal series know who Glados is, and the gaming villain should be represented in a special 6-inch POP!. Now, this might be unrealistic, but it would be amazing to have a rotating neck piece so you could tilt the head, recreating some of the more memorable moments of the games.

Oh, and whether it rotates or not, it should definitely include a small cake and a portal cube.

Gaming: Pokemon

This is technically cheating, since in the original series alone there are 151 of them, but seriously, how has this not happened yet?

Pokemon is perfectly suited for the POP! treatment, and you could start the set with the icons like Pikachu, Charmander, and Squirtle. After the original set is done you can move into the newerย collections, and variants would be easy to come up with as well.

As to why this hasn’t happened yet, it’s most likely due to Nintendo’s rather guarded approach to its franchises. They’ve recentlyย been more open to using their properties in new ways, even launching mobile titles that include Mario, so maybe they’ll let Funko unleashย POP Pokemon onto the world in the foreseeable future.

Seriously, they would just print money at that point, right?
