The WWE may be bringing back some long dormant pay per views. According to a leaked schedule posted to Reddit, No Mercy, Clash of Champions and Backlash are three of the new pay per view events being added to the WWE’s 2016 calendar. The new events are being added due to the WWE’s upcoming brand split, which will divide the wrestlers into two separate rosters that will compete on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. According to a report from earlier this month, each brand will have its own pay per view event every month, with the exception of “the big four” events (Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble) which will feature wrestlers from both brands.

If the new schedule is accurate, the WWE’s events for the rest of the year are as follows:
Battleground: July 24 at the Verizon Center in Washington DC.
SummerSlam: August 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY (with a start time of 7 PM).
Backlash: September 11 in Richmond, VA. (Smackdown Exclusive)
Clash of Champions: September 25 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianoplis, IN. (Raw Exclusive)
No Mercy: October 9, at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA. (Smackdown Exclusive)
Hell in a Cell: October 30 at the TD Garden in Boston, MA (Raw Exclusive)
Survivor Series: November 20 in Toronto, ON
WWE TLC: December 4 in Dallas, TX (SmackDown exclusive)
WWE Roadblock: December 18 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA (Raw exclusive).
While this schedule should be taken with a grain of salt since the WWE has yet to confirm or deny it, the Redditor who posted the image has been correct on several other storylines in recent months, including the retirement of the Divas Championship and the upcoming brand split.
