The New England Patriots are once again the Super Bowl Champions, but their biggest star not named Tom Brady had to watch the game from the sidelines. A back injury that has kept Rob Gronkowski sidelined for most of the 2016-17 season has left the most unstoppable tight end in the NFL’s football history in jeopardy.

Luckily for Gronk, a backup plan awaits him in the WWE. Yesterday, Gronk’s pal, Mojo Rawley, tweeted out an invitation for Gronk to join him at Wrestlemania.
Hey @RobGronkowski @ggronko. Now that season is over and y’all are champs (again), @WWE #Wrestlemania is around the corner….just sayin…๐ค pic.twitter.com/mnP8NVwfYf

With Mojo’s Hype Bros partner, Zack Ryder, out with an injury of his own, Gronk would be a great fill-in on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Unfortunately, there’s no chance Gronk gets physical inside a WWE ring until his NFL career is officially over as the risk would be too great. However, that doesn’t mean Gronk won’t show up in his buddy’s corner for a little hype motivation when the time is right.
