After an opening segment that saw Dean Ambrose replace Chris Jericho’s light-up jacket and make amends with his former adversary,The Miz spent all night looking for a partner to take on Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho. After asking everyone in the back, including his Marine 5 co-stars, Heath Slater and Curtis Axel, Miz was routinely turned down until he received a note from a willing participant.
Once in the ring, The Miz announced that his partner was a no-show so he would have to cancel the match. Much to the A-Lister’s dismay, Raw GM, Kurt Angle, came out to announce the match would still take place as a 2-1 handicap match “until his partner showed up.”

Jericho and Ambrose continued took out their aggressions on Miz in and out of the ring, eventually setting up the former Intercontinental Champion on the announce table. As Dean went to finish things off, the lights flickered and Bray Wyatt appeared to what felt like a really mild reaction and poor pay off to the three hour long saga.

Bray then laid waste to everyone in the ring, including, oddly enough, his own partner as Raw went off the air with no clear winner and Bray yelling “Follow The Buzzards” like it was 2013 all over again.
I believe this was supposed to get us more excited about the upcoming House of Horrors match between Wyatt and Randy Orton at this Sunday’s WWE Payback, but the inclusion of Wyatt in this angle felt forced at best.
Here’s how the Internet reacted to The Miz’s mystery partner finale.
