Deadpool will join the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers on February 7, 2016 with a “major presence” during the Super Bowl, THR reports. That means there’ll be a new trailer during the game, but also “numerous publicity events.” Because Deadpool just isn’t doing anything in the press yet, after all.

Fox will also highlight Independence Day: Resurgence and X-Men: Apocalypse at the big game, with on-the-ground events planned in San Francisco.
Friday night, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds will drive a food truck around the Super Bowl campus, handing out chimichangas. A bar near the stadium will host the official press junket for the movie on Saturday, and a screening with “football players and other sports figures” at the AMC Metreon IMAX in San Francisco will follow Saturday night.
Disney is also expected to have a significant ad presence during the game and pre-game, which saw more than 114 million viewers last year. Zootopia, The Jungle Book, and Captain America: Civil War are likely titles for promotion from the house of mouse. Warner Bros does not plan to run a new ad for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice during the game, and hasn’t purchased airtime. They are, however, promotional partners with Doritos, and will likely have some BvS branding during the Doritos contest-winning ad. Ads run close to $5 million for 30 seconds during the game this year.
Paramount will advertise Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows with a new 30 second spot, and Universal has purchased one 60 second spot, as well.
